Chuckanut Biodiversity Project

This study was an early citizen science project designed to provide baseline information on the biological resources within the Chuckanut Range in Whatcom and Skagit Counties in Washington State. The project aim was to collect data on the presence and distribution of birds, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, fish, vascular plants and cryptograms. It piloted with amphibian surveys that were preformed using citizen science. The project was very successful, but is currently hunting for leaders to expand into other taxonomic groups.
